The Great Plains Crop Residue Management Alliance is located in the far Southwest corner of the state.  The counties that make up our Alliance are Grant, Haskell, Morton, Seward and Stevens.  The Alliance strives to educate and promote conservation tillage and no-till to farmers, agribusinesses and landowners.   The Great Plains Alliance is a member alliance of No-Till on the Plains.

We have hosted the F.A.C.T (Farmers, Agriculture, Conservation & Technology) Conference for the last eleven years.

The challenges that face farmers today are great.  The programs that are being put together for the 2010  F.A.C.T Conference will provide good ideas, based on experience and new technology.  These ideas will be shared and hopefully provide valuable information in meeting today’s challenges.

NEW LOCATION!  Grant County Civic Center  -  Ulysses, Kansas

The Great Plains Alliance is dedicated to educating farmers about how to develop economically, agronomically, and environmentally sound crop production systems through the application of No-Till farming techniques.   Better water infiltration, less evaporation, better root exploration, and healthier crops are some No-Till Farming benefits that farmers can take advantage of to produce more bushels and make more profit.
